SMALL POLICIES, BIG NUMBERS

You build the product. We’ll be the carrier.

Maybe you sell insurance inside your product. Maybe you run an insurance program. Either way you need a carrier. That is the company whose name goes on the policy. Its money pays the claims. We are building that carrier. We bring the license, the money, and the paperwork. Our smallest program is $1 million a year, not $20 million.

IF THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR

Under $20 million a year? Most carriers will not call you back.

The ones who answer take six months to say yes. Then the big insurer behind you asks where a number came from. Nobody at the carrier can answer. You ask for your own numbers and wait.

WHO DOES WHAT

You do not have to become an insurance company.

We do the insurance work. You keep doing yours.

We handle

  • The license, and the money behind it.carrier license · statutory surplus
  • The paperwork every state requires.regulatory filings
  • Big insurers who share the risk.reinsurance
  • The math that sets your price.actuarial work
  • Claims, and the data under them.
  • Teaching you the business, if you have never met a reinsurer.

You keep

  • Your product, and where insurance shows up in it.
  • Your customers. They stay yours.
  • Your brand.
  • A cut of every dollar your customers pay.carrier fee: industry standard
  • Your data. Not scanned PDFs. Take it the day you leave.
  • One connection to build. Nothing to rebuild.
  • Your engineers, still building your product.

No checklist. No insurance team to hire.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps to your first policy.

01

Tell us what you are building.

One email. A person answers.

02

We set up the insurance side.

The program, the paper, the price.

03

You launch.

Your customers see one new line at checkout.

Vertical Insure sells a $25 policy at checkout. More than 750,000 customers have bought one. Brock Noland started it. He is our co-founder and our first customer.

WHY WE CAN DO THIS

Why the big carriers had to say no.

A big carrier pays two thousand people and more than sixteen vendors. To cover that, a program needs $20 million a year. We built one system ourselves, so a $1 million program works here.

You were not too small. The minimum was too old.

$25Average policy, proven across 750,000+ customers

In-houseOne system, not 16+ vendors

Weeks comes from the way we are built. It is not a promise. Break even at $1 million instead of $20 million. Big carriers need six months to sign you up and eight more to launch.

WHERE WE ARE

We are not open yet. Here is exactly where we are.

Slingshot is being built as a licensed carrier. It is not one today. Check our work.

Come in now and you help shape the program: first the product, then the filings, then launch. The weeks above start once we open. If your first policy has to sell this year, we will say so in the first email.

We are building the carrier we wish we’d had.

You have explained this to carriers who did not want it. Explain it once to one that does. We would rather teach you this business than quote you a price.
